Medical equipment for first-line hospitals in Bucharest and Brașov

Ever since the pandemic, as resources started being reorganized to serve COVID-19 patients and a great number of patients needed intensive care in a very short amount of time, the need for modern equipment in first-line hospitals started to increase.

The objective of our project was to equip three hospitals in Brașov and Bucharest with modern equipment, that would help medical staff do their jobs in the best possible conditions in the ICU, where the patients lead the biggest fights of their lives.

Equipment purchased

  • Flow-i anesthesia machine for intensive care
  • An electroencephalograph with 24 channels to monitor and evaluate brain activity
  • A portable electrocardiograph with 12 channels to monitor and evaluate the heart's electric impulses
  • A portable vital function monitor
  • An ICU vital function monitor
  • Equipment meant to defrost plasma and heat blood.

The equipment can also be used after the pandemic, as it is essential for any department treating severe patients.
