#We have built a Hospital. We've created the infrastructure needed to offer the best possible treatment for children with severe diseases, such as cancer. But a building is not enough if we want to considerably improve the way in which patients are being cared for. We also need involvement, continuous development and learning.

We're standing by the medical staff of Marie Curie Hospital with programs and projects meant for their training, learning and development. We're facilitating international partnerships and exchanges that, in the end, will increase the quality of the medical act.

• Prinses Maxima Center in Utrecht, The Netherlands
• St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, USA
• Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York, USA
• King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan
• Carmel Medical Center in Haifa, Israel

Prinses Maxima Center is the only center treating children with cancer in the Netherlands, with approximately 500 new cases every year. The center has become a European icon for the survival rate of sick children, as well as for the research and international partnerships it harbors.

St. Jude Children's Hospital in the USA is one of the biggest hospitals treating children with cancer and a global icon, creating an international network of more than 200 members of 70 countries, with the purpose of increasing survival rates in pediatric cancer.

These partnerships have been created to offer the staff of Marie Curie Hospital the opportunity to get training, to accumulate more experience and to get actively involved in identifying ways to improve the quality of treatment and the survival rates of sick children.
